| Pressure drop on Soi Namtok |
For the past 10 days we have been unable to get water in our house because the pressure in the mains is too low. This is the second time that this has happened and it is very frustrating. It is a major inconvenience as we are being denied the opportunity to shower, shave or even flush the toilet. Other houses in our soi are suffering from similar problems. Please, can we just get some water? |

The PWW has had to decrease the pressure on AC cement pipes that are more than two decades old. Some of the existing pipes broke because of the high water pressure, which we subsequently fixed on the evening of January 26. This is what has caused the initial decrease in the water pressure. Soi Namtok, Kathu has three to 10 residences that are located in elevated positions and as a result the pressure may not be sufficient enough to supply those houses. We try to adjust the pressure as quickly as possible to rectify supply problem. |
