| How do I get rid of a cobra? |
Due to all the construction in Kathu there has been an alarming rise in the number of snakes, particularly cobras, in residential areas. Are there any suggestions on the best way to get them removed and who stores anti-venom serum? |

“The best thing you can do is call the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Section at Kathu Municipality or come in and speak to a member of our staff. Once aware of the problem, they will go and collect the snake. They have all the tools and the training required, so we recommend that you leave it to them. In the event of a snake bit, call for an ambulance or head to a hospital immediately. Every hospital in Phuket stocks anti-venom.
