Phuket Butterfly Release

Tara Sudlow reports from the 6th annual butterfly release at Bang Pae Waterfall, near the Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre. Over 2,000 butterflies and many hundreds of fish were released to make merit, the event also encouraged visitors to plant young trees.The event was organised by Phuket Butterfly Garden & Insect World and Governor Maitri Inthusut presided over the release.
