PHUKET: Eyebrows and blood pressures were raised in Phuket this evening when 25 Miss Poland contestants touched down at Phuket international Airport.

The Polish beauty pageant contestants are in Phuket courtesy of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and they'll be visiting various venues around the island over the next few days, taking part in a series of photo shoots.

TAT's Frankfurt Office director Suwalai Pinpradab accompanied the Miss Poland contestants after convincing their representatives that Phuket's natural beauty would be the perfect backdrop for the Polish beauties.
