English-language seminar on Thai capital market, financial products on Sunday
PHUKET: The Association of Thai Securities Companies (ASCO) will be shooting to give Thais and foreigners greater clarity about Thai capital market and Thai financial products during a seminar on July 5 at the Phuket Royal City Hotel.
Those attending will be broken up into three groups, with the seminar being held in Thai for two groups and English for the third.
“This event will have two Thai seminar rooms. The first room is for sophisticated existing investors, so the content will be cover the second half 2015 investment outlook and stock picks by our analysts,” said a representative from ASCO. “The second room is for the newbies. The content will be about how to start investing and how technical analysis will help in investing.”
About 350 people have signed up for the seminar, which will feature investment strategists and analysts from eight prominent securities companies operating branches in Phuket. However, few of those registered have signed up for the English-language seminar.
