PRBC calls for blood donations during Chinese New Year festivities
PHUKET: The Phuket Regional Blood Center (PRBC) has called for blood donations during the Chinese New Year festivities in a campaign entitled ‘Chinese New Year, donate blood for life happiness’.
“Chinese New Year is considered a very important ceremony for Thai-Chinese people,” said PRBC Chief Pornthip Rattajak. “Donating blood to those who need it is a good way to welcome in the new year.”
Ms Pornthip announced that anyone who donates blood February 6-12 will receive a Chinese New Year calendar as a token of appreciation.
Donations can be made at the PRBC during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30am to 8pm
Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 3pm.
You may also donate blood at any of the mobile donation clinics that will be set up around the island at the following locations:
February 1: Samkong Tesco Lotus, 12pm-6pm
February 4: Hilton Arcadia Resort and Spa Phuket, 1pm-4pm
February 5: Samkong Tesco Lotus, 12pm-6pm
February 8: Samkong Tesco Lotus, 12pm-6pm
February 10: HomePro Village Chalong, 12pm-6pm
February 11: Thalang School, 10am-3pm
February 12: Bangkok Hospital Phuket, 3rd floor, 1pm-5pm
February 16: Srinagarindra the Princess Mother School, 10am-3pm
February 17: Phuket Rajabhat University, 8:30am-3:30pm
February 18: Phuket Rajabhat University, 8:30am-3:30pm
February 24: Phuket Wittayalai School, 9am-3pm
February 25: OrBorTor Cherng Talay, 10am-3pm
February 26: Samkong Tesco Lotus, 12pm-6pm
