Marriott to launch new resort in Nai Yang
PHUKET: Marriott Hotels are launching the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach, next month.
Inspired by cultural and architectural characteristics of Thailand, the resort is located about a 10 minute drive from Phuket International Airport.
It has 180 rooms and is designed as a combination of traditional Thai style and sophisticated, modern architecture, by using ‘relaxing’ earth tones along with contemporary Thai decor.
The resort features 24-hour facilities, including a bar and restaurants with local and international cuisine; a beachfront grill with fresh seafood; a fully equipped 24-hour fitness center; a spa; children’s activities at the kids’ pool area; and a beachside kids’ club.
A 108 square-meter ballroom and several function rooms will cater to various types of events, ranging from private parties to exclusive seaside weddings.
With 500 hotels and resorts in more than 50 countries around the world, Marriott hotels “aim to enhance every aspect of our guests’ stay.”
Other resorts of the group in Phuket are the Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa; the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa; and the Marriott Phuket Beach Club.
