After taking a year away from the island to help set up a catering school in Malaysia, renowned Phuket pâtissier Peter Webber is back and baking up a storm. From his bijou coffee and cake shop, Les Diables, at the Boat Lagoon, Peter is creating great cakes for every occasion. Dutch Paralympics team train in Phuket
The Dutch Paralympics swim team came to Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Complex recently to train and inspire some of the students from Phuket International Academy. Also in the news, five of Phuket's top Italian chefs were honoured by the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce and property developer Sansiri announced the successful completion of part of the Project Give social change campaign.
Phuket Health & Fitness Festival
The Phuket Health & Fitness Festival, staged at multiple locations around the South of the island - including Atmanjai Wellness Center, Mangosteen Resort and Spa, and Serenity Resort & Residences - brought together practitioners in numerous fields. Tri-Nations Sundowner at Pullman Phuket Arcadia
Phuket Today joins three of the island's top business associations – AmCham, AustCham and BBAP – as they gather at the recently opened Pullman Phuket Arcadia. Also in the news, the Thai-Russian Chamber of Commerce staged a seminar at Royal Phuket Marina to help local Russian business promote the island to their countrymen.
