An Evolution in Cinema
Visual entertainment reaches new heights in Phuket with the recent arrival of Evolution Cinema. This Full Dome cinema experience, the first in Thailand, places viewers in relaxed recliners to view digitally created movies that span the entire interior area of the semi-spherical theater. Set up at Central Festival Phuket, the Full Dome experience runs from 11am to 11pm daily with a range of eye-boggling features created to astound and teach the viewers.

Turtle release at Mai Khao Beach

Tom Howard's new Phuket classic
Kiranee Narabal talks to Tom Howard about his very recently restored classic, Marie G. Over sixty years ago, she was a Royal Air Force support vessel in Singapore. She was brought to Phuket to work for an offshore mining concern and then became a runabout for a Phuket hotel. Tom found her bottomless and rotting away on the hard stand and decided that the old lady deserved better.
