Five die – Truck crashes into electricity workers in Saraburi

A truck crashed into a vehicle carrying four on-duty electricity authority employees who were changing high-voltage transmission lines in Saraburi province, two hours north of Bnagkok, at 11.40am on Sunday, causing five deaths.

Killed at the scene on the Paholyothin Road were four electricity authority workers and the truck driver.

Witnesses said the driver lost control of the truck and crashed into the electricity authority vehicle, on which four workers were carrying out their duties.
The crash also brought down an electricity pole.
