Mystery woman drowns off Phang Nga beach

A woman, over the age of 60 in a black swimsuit, drowned on a beach north of Phuket on Tuesday.

When emergency responders arrived at Khuk Khak Beach in Takuapa district, Phang Nga, the woman was already deceased. A security guard at the hotel fronting beach the woman was swimming tried to apply CPR before rescuers arrived, but to no avail.

Her body has been moved to Khao Lak medical centre. Police has been trying to find where she was staying but all the hotels in the area say that she wasn’t staying with them. There was no other belongings or ID found near where the woman was swimming.
