She told staff at the Damrongtham Centre that the Office of Consumer Protection Board in Phuket informed her that there would be a staff from the manufacturing company visiting her at her house to take the fish can to gather more information on how this could happen. Staff from the manufacturers went to her house and only asked to take away the can, without an apology or taking any responsibility for the worms in the can, so she refused to hand it over as she wanted to keep it as a piece of evidence.

“After my posts of the story and photos of the worms in the cans went viral there were also some negative feedbacks from netizen to me and my family as well. I have also made a report with the police at Phuket Police Station,” she noted.
