Tourist visa extension mobile service for Krabi

Krabi Immigration has launched a mobile van service for visa extensions targeting foreign tourists staying in Ao Nang.

Krabi Privincial Immigration Office Superintendent, Pol Col Suparuek Pankosol, along with immigration officers, launched the mobile van and services at Ao Nang Beach yesterday (February 16).

The new service will allow tourists to report their extension (other than 90 day reporting) without traveling to the Immigration Office which is located 20 kilometres away from the main tourist areas.

“The mobile van will visit the tourism destinations in the province approximately once a month. This service only covers the short term stays like a tourist visa. During the service, we can also promote about reporting your accommodation address which is important for all foreigners. This service has received great feedback so far,” said the superintendent.
