Jaguar, Land Rover get new dealership in Phuket

PHUKET: Luxury car importer GB Automobile Co Ltd was recently appointed to be the sole, official authorized dealer for Land Rover and Jaguar cars in Phuket and the rest of Southern Thailand.

The official grand opening of the new showroom is set for next month.

Meanwhile, GB Auto is undergoing an extensive renovation of their showroom, which is adjacent to the Benz Ramkhamhaeng Group (BRG) showroom located on the busy Thepkrasattri Road in Rassada.

To feature a full line of Land Rover and Jaguar models, with a complete post-sales service department, the new showroom will be serviced by a professional sales team, with factory-trained service advisers and technicians on hand to ensure full support for customers.

Speaking to the Phuket Gazette at a recent car exhibition held at Central Festival Phuket from June 6-12, GB Automobile General Manager Dominic Cheung revealed details about the development of the new showroom and the range of cars that will now be available in Phuket.

“I think Phuket is a beautiful city with a high standard of living for some, so I think our brands Land Rover and Jaguar are a very good match for Phuket.

“We have about 30 years of highly successful experience in importing premium cars to Bangkok.

“So we decided to come to invest in a dealership in Phuket because we are confident in the strength of brands such as Land Rover, the ‘king of off-road’, and Jaguar which has a long tradition in building fine premium cars.

“I think we will do well in Phuket,” he said, adding, “We want to create a long term relationship with our customers by providing excellent service, starting from the sales experience and throughout the whole post-sales service [period] for the entire ownership of the car.

“In other words, the key for our business is to keep customers happy, [and] to treat our customers like friends.”
