Dutch Tourists To Be Accommodated

BANGKOK: The recent announcement by Thai Airways International (THAI) to temporarily suspend flights to and from Amsterdam has been followed up with measures to minimize the impact of the service cutback on passengers, the carrier said. Tasnai Sudasna na Ayudhaya, Vice President for Revenue Planning and Management, acknowledged that over 7,000 Thailand-bound vacationers had booked flights on the airline out of Amsterdam’s international airport for November and December. “We realize that thousands of tourists are coming into Thailand between now and December. Therefore, plans have been made to accommodate and transfer them to other European gateways to which THAI operates, including Frankfurt, Munich, Rome, Paris, Copenhagen and Zurich. There will be no additional transfer charge in the airfares,” the airline official said.
