Phuket police launch websites

PHUKET: Two police departments in Phuket have created websites to improve communication with the public. The Phuket Immigration Police have set up a website at https://www.phuketimmigration.com“>https://www.phuketimmigration.com. There, anyone may report aliens who break the law, appear to present a security threat, or are “behaving strangely”, the Superintendent of Phuket Immigration Police, Col Apilak Hongtong, explained. The Phuket Provincial Police website is at https://www.phuketpolice.com. This site gives information such as emergency telephone numbers, the responsibilities of each police station in the province, pictures of police officers at each station, and documents required in order to make reports to the police. Anyone wishing to send comments to the commander of the Phuket Provincial Police may visit the site for an email link. Both websites have content in Thai and English.
