Two brothers stabbed to death

PHUKET CITY: The bodies of two brothers from Udon Thani who had been beaten and stabbed to death were found near an ice factory about 700 meters north of Sri Suchart Grand View housing estate, on the bypass road, about 6 am on Wednesday.

Pol Lt Col Chokechai Suthimek, of Phuket City Police Station, told the Gazette that the men were last seen drinking with friends at Kon Pleng Karaoke, near where their bodies were discovered.

Pradit Seekena, 24, had been stabbed four times in the chest and once in the neck, and he had a gash on his chin, on his forehead and a three-inch long gash on the top of his head.

His younger brother Pornchai, 23, had three stab wounds in his back, a broken cheekbone and a three-inch long gash on the top of his head.

Col Chokechai said that he determined the men’s identities after a mobile phone was found at the scene. The phone contained the number of a sister of the men.

The sister, who lives on Phuket, has already collected her brothers’ bodies to take back to her family in Udon Thani.

Col Chokechai said that police are continuing their investigation into the double homicide.
